[ K S R ] (a.k.a. Roosevelt Kazaula Sigsbert) has an appreciation for classic RnB while embracing contemporary production and hip-hop beats. The Manchester-based vocalist is inspired by artists like D’Angelo, Erykah Badu and Miguel drawing on the classic RnB and neo-soul sound, whilst blessing his tracks with unique storytelling narratives and complete vulnerability.
5. CHERISE
The multi-faceted vocalist and soulful songwriter, CHERISE (a.k.a. Cherise Adams-Burnett) is an artist ready to step into the limelight and take the soul scene by storm. CHERISE featured on the Seed Ensemble’s Mercury Prize-nominated album Driftglass, toured the UK and Europe as lead singer with London-based jazz collective Nubiyan Twist, and capped a successful period off by winning the 2019 Jazz FM Singer of the Year Award. Her angelic singing and timeless compositions are fast making her one of the most talented musicians around right now!
6. Amber-Simone
London-based singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Amber-Simone is most certainly one to watch going forward! The rising star perfectly complements stunning sounds of Neo-Soul, gospel and contemporary RnB with her rich, soulful voice, and honestly, words can’t even justify how talented this soul-queen is!
