The Berlin-based Jazz musician Skyline Sun (a.k.a Jarrah Dhyan) just dropped his long-awaited ‘Flesh and Bones EP’ on all major streaming platforms, following on from his recent release “Strange Times” which gained interest and support from the likes of WorldWide FM, Kalab, FIP radio, and Twisted Soul to name a few. Check the lead single “Strange Times” out below:

‘Flesh and Bones EP’ is ground-breaking, upbeat, and experimental; drawing inspiration from a variety of genres like Contemporary Jazz, Electronica, Indie, and Alternative. The project is one that you can dance and lose yourself to, as well as being one that you can sit down, and relax to. According to Jarrah “the whole theme of the EP is about coping with the fragile, unpredictable nature of society. It embodies what it means to be a Jazz musician in these crazy times that we are living in”.

All-in-all, the project is beautifully unpredictable and extremely volatile at times, with constant shifts in pace and vibrations, and highs and lows that exemplify the current state of world affairs. It is an EP that pushes the boundaries of contemporary jazz whilst also remaining grounded in tradition. Born and bred in Australia before moving to Europe, Jarrah is familiar with changing environments and it really shows in this project and throughout his rich body of work.

“Flesh and Bones EP” is now available to stream on all major streaming platforms:

Spotify | Apple Music | Bandcamp | Amazon
