Joining forces with producer and partner in crime Kehlarj, “Cat In Oz” is an eclectic fusion of head-nodding boombap and experimental psychedelia. The instrumental is an exquisite blend of eerie chime samples, syncopated drum loops, trippy sound effects, and a hard-hitting bassline melody. Onoe Caponoe compliments the backing with authenticity and eccentricity, displaying a mixture of timeless flows, otherworldly cadences and unique storytelling narratives.
