According to Lewis Daniel “Why Me is about this state or feeling we all go through whether we care to admit it or not. It's not quite an anger nor is it quite a contemplation, but rather a mix of both.

Lewis’ forthcoming EP is a combination of his own cultural heritage as a Black British Caribbean growing up in South London. “States Of Being is a concept EP. I wanted to create a work that is personal and emotive for the listener to relate to, but also music that would make people want to dance. All of the tracks have deep personal meaning to me and in many ways illustrates the formative journey I, and others like me, have gone through during their 20s".
