Lewis Daniel - States Of Being EP

Rising Jazz musician Lewis Daniel just dropped his debut project ‘States Of Being EP’, which is now available to stream on all major music platforms. The EP showcases Lewis Daniel’s brilliant skill sets as a Composer and Saxophonist; breaking the boundaries of conventional Jazz music, and drawing influence from an array of genres like Gospel, Hip Hop, Soul, Garage, and Grime. Be sure to check the EP out below if you haven’t already listened to it:

The EP is an expansive, intricate, and cohesive body of work that delves deep into the different feelings and emotions Daniel’s has come across since embarking on his musical journey. For me, there is something really special about Lewis Daniel’s approach to creating and composing Jazz music, and it’s clearly evident to see throughout this project. Daniel’s previously stated that he “wanted to create a work which is personal and emotive for the listener to relate to, but also music that would make people want to dance. All of the tracks have deep personal meaning to me and in many ways illustrates the formative journey I, and others like me, have gone through during their 20s".

After many years of playing the saxophone as a Session musician for well-established artists like ‘The House Gospel Choir’, Boadi, The Last Dinosaur, Rachel Kerr and Tom Grennan; the rising star finally dropped his debut EP and it is everything we wanted and some.
