Karizma and Jack Wolff - Ostrich Song Review

Karizma and Jack Wolff have linked up once again to add to their collaborative catalogue of work with their new single ‘Ostrich’ - which is co-produced by SFM 35.8. Jack Wolff and SFM 35.8 have managed to create the perfect blend of Jazz, Soul, and Hip Hop on the instrumental in Ostrich; which has a smooth, unique, and jazzy tone, that is both endearing and accessible for all different types of listeners. Karizma compliments the jazzy backing with his melodic vocals, and punchy hip hop flows, which together give the single an authentic, organic feel.

I first listened to Karizma’s live performance of ‘Through My Window’ on SB.TV back in 2014, and I immediately picked up on his talent both as a vocalist and lyricist. I really feel as though Karizma has come a long way as an artist, taking a more introspective and alternative approach to hip hop and music in general, since the days of binging SB.TV. And I’m all for it.

Karizma clearly has a special talent and unique approach to making music, and I love how effortless it is for him to switch from rapping to singing on almost all of his tracks. It’s both inspiring and heartfelt to see an artist mature and evolve in the way that Karizma has done so over his career, and I feel as though Ostrich adds to the prospect of a brighter future for Karizma as a Musician, as he lines up his debut album heading into 2021. The new single ‘Ostrich’ has a tongue in cheek track ambience about the many everyday blunders of life, while sitting on the back drop of a jazzy, cruising aura on Jack Wolff’s production.
