Jaish - ‘Declaration EP’ Out Now
Bournemouth-based multi-talented vocalist and producer Jaish just dropped his highly anticipated project ‘Declaration EP’, following on from his previous ‘red hot’ release “Bloodline”. The EP showcases Jaish’s profound versatility as a vocalist and lyricist and is now available to stream on all major music platforms. The opening track “WINNIN” provides an OG UK rap sound as Jaish talks about his wins and growth as an artist and up until now. The EP’s first single “Bloodline” is a catchy hit, littered with Jazzy saxophone samples, melodic rhyme schemes and wavey adlibs. One of my personal favourites from the EP “Hazey”, is a deep, reflective track complimented by Mantha’s soul-touching, angelic vocals. “Indecisive” is an absolute banger from beginning to end as Jaish impressively spits his heart out over a dope alt-rap styled instrumental for over 3 minutes straight! Jaish slows things down with “Fiji” which provides relaxed vibes for those looking to lay low and chill in the sun. Finally, the project draws to a close with another one of my personal favourites, “I Try” offering a mellow reflective tone to end a well rounded, versatile body of work!
The key takeaway from ‘Declaration EP‘ is Jaish’s versatility and capability as an artist at delivering different styles, sounds and melodies over a wide variety of instrumentals. We’re expecting to see loads more heat and growth from Jaish as he continues on his musical journey that is only going to end in one way - very well!
