The release is a family affair that sees Isatta Sheriff recruit rising North London rapper Lex Amor to assist in storytelling narratives through the medium of music, as we witness a vulnerable conversation between friends reflecting on their journey’s so far! Koralle’s soulful, Jazz-centric production is an amalgamation of hard-hitting organic drums, rhythmic baselines, elegant piano sample chops and crafty adlibs, and Lex Amor and Isatta Sheriff bless the mic in typical fashion with mesmerising flows, thought-provoking wordplay, and all-round good vibes!
Exclusively speaking on “Window Thoughts” Isatta states:
“While listening to the melodies I began to imagine myself staring into space at my kitchen window, and reflecting on various elements of my musical journey. I ended up purposefully going down to that window and allowing those thoughts to materialise so that they would flow into lyrics and eventually become Window Thoughts.”
Isatta Sheriff is easily one of the hardest working people in the UK scene. She is always focused on self-improvement and has an unwavering devotion to her craft, lacing rhymes with humour and remaining remarkably consistent.
