Her latest 4-track EP is a series of independent releases taken from a collection of music recorded in lockdown. The tracks are accompanied by highly rated artists who effortlessly blend the sounds of Soul, Jazz and contemporary R&B into Ego Ella Mays elegant harmonies. Her personal yet relatable/observational lyrics infused with tales of self-healing, protest, love and loss, gives us a taste of what we can expect from Ego Ella May’s next chapter of highly anticipated music. 

Ego Ella May has been racking up an impressive collection of accolades in recent times, with nominations at the Jazz FM Awards (2021) for Best Soul Act and Best Vocal Act) and Urban Music Awards (2021) for Best Jazz Act. following her previous success at the MOBO Awards where Ego Ella May won the Best Jazz Act award in 2020, she has recently been backed and supported by Power Up - an initiative to end anti-Black racism in the UK Music Industry created and managed by the magnificent PRS Foundation.
