Coming up in a time where Drill, Trap and Hood Rap is at the forefront of everyone’s minds in the UK, Cam Thomas fuses conscious storytelling rap and distinctive cadences with melodic vocals to create a unique sound and style dissimilar to the masses. His music bridges the gap between the street-inspired subject matter of UK rap and the conscious elements of UK Hip Hop, and his unique style is heavily inspired by US Hip-Hop stars like Meek Mill, Drake, and J. Cole. “Underrated” is the first single from Cam’s debut full-length album projected for release in May 2023, and in my opinion, from the incredible production all the way to thought-provoking lyricism, “Underrated” is Cam Thomas’ most complete song to date!
